I was playing with a macro lens on my iPhone and lay down behind a blade of grass to enlarge the sky. A small lizard appeared, glistening and dangerous, and the shadows of enormous leaves eclipsed the moon. Scissor like thorns and armoured ants cut off my escape and as I turned immense crystalline grains toppled and I fell into a well that must have been the nipped off stalk of a severed flower. A long time later I returned to my world and the immense solitude of microscopia evaporated in a breeze.
