Love the Australian Magpie, although I have a love hate relationship. As a kid I was always the one who was swopped, they used to get me riding my bike or if ever near them in Spring, protecting their little ones. They would nip me under the ear. My solution was to wear a painted paper plate with a face on it :) My love for them though, is the straight strong black and white colour and colourful eye with a nice blue Australian sky background.

Australian magpie is ready to fly anywhere in the world, one of my kookaburras has already flown out to USA.

I'm a abstract realist artist and have drawn for most of my life, but started painting in 2011. Working with acrylics and oils on portraits and abstract sea pieces. I continue to experiment and push my work to become a better artist every time I paint. Inspired by the great Michelangelo who at the age of 87 while painting the St. Peters Bascilica said, ‘Ancora Imparo - I am still learning’.
