Artwork Description

Love the posture of this portrait and the high contrast shadowing and light. Even though it is predominantly dark and the sad looking face, she still can turn and look into the light where there is hope.

Painted on high quality Fabriano Artistico 300gsm extra white.

Artwork will be posted flat to avoid creasing or bending because of the paint on thick paper.

Artwork requires framing. Would suit a white or raw Tasmanian oak frame with glass.

Artist Bio

I'm a abstract realist artist and have drawn for most of my life, but started painting in 2011. Working with acrylics and oils on portraits and abstract sea pieces. I continue to experiment and push my work to become a better artist every time I paint. Inspired by the great Michelangelo who at the age of 87 while painting the St. Peters Bascilica said, ‘Ancora Imparo - I am still learning’.

Based in Adelaide and sells nation and worldwide.
