An exploration of portraits that showcases how our hands relate and connect to the face to communicate feeling or emotion. Part of my latest solo exhibition (2024).
I'm a abstract realist artist and have drawn for most of my life, but started painting in 2011. Working with acrylics and oils on portraits and abstract sea pieces. I continue to experiment and push my work to become a better artist every time I paint. Inspired by the great Michelangelo who at the age of 87 while painting the St. Peters Bascilica said, ‘Ancora Imparo - I am still learning’. Based in Adelaide and sells nation and worldwide.
