Twiggy from the 60's, high contrast shadows and a great pose inspired me to paint her. Painted on high quality Fabriano Artistico 300gsm extra white to bring out the vibrance of the colours.

Would suit a white frame with glass.

Artwork will be posted flat to avoid creasing or bending because of the paint on thick paper.

I'm a abstract realist artist and have drawn for most of my life, but started painting in 2011. Working with acrylics and oils on portraits and abstract sea pieces. I continue to experiment and push my work to become a better artist every time I paint. Inspired by the great Michelangelo who at the age of 87 while painting the St. Peters Bascilica said, ‘Ancora Imparo - I am still learning’.
