This painting is part of my current series of semi figurative paintings exploring the theme of silence and movement. A figure behind a curtain, a mirror reflecting furniture and a drop of water are silent elements blown out by a violent gush of wind in the red curtains..an allegory of domestic peace suddenly destroyed by extreme emotions.
This painting is quite large at 3m x 1.2 m and would suit either a large room or public space, bringing warmth and excitement to wherever it may hang
