I love to paint the depth of the sea against the soft colours in the sand. I give it lots of texture by using my palette knife, toning and blending colours straight onto the canvas. It gives me lots of pleasure and I hope this comes through in my work.

Painting our beautiful coast makes me feel so relaxed and happy. I love painting the different shades of blue from shallow to the deep waters, in contrast to the peachy white of the sand that surrounds it. So peaceful and beautiful.

I love to paint the blues of the beach and the blushing pink of the sand. The contrasting colours is so beautiful and mesmerising when you’re walking along the coast. I love to capture the feeling it leaves me with on canvas, hope you love this piece and find a special place in your home for it.

Summer is coming, dreaming of those beautiful white Sandy beaches and the green blue coastal waters. For fun I’ve painted in some orange umbrellas,( I love orange and blue combination), to give some interest. I have used my pallet knife to create beautiful textures. These colours are Summer.
