Normally I have a name in mind before I start painting but this one was unnamed until adding it to Bluethumb.
I love to start with textured bases and see what comes from it and how I can use the texture to influence the direction of light and darkness. Unlike most artists I started with dark colours and then adding lighter highlights. I love the hint of glimmers in the top right corner so I took that cue to find a name fitting the painting.
