This artwork is from my recent Australiana series. I have chosen vwry dark backgrounds for this series of artworks. The background colour helps to make the golds in the flowers pop.

Vicki is a Queensland based artist who draws on sense of place‚ nature and the human form as inspiration for her artwork. Her love of flowers is evident in many of her artworks.
Vicki works out of her studio in Cleveland ‚ where she also holds regular workshops and classes. Vicki works across many mediums including pastel‚ watercolour‚ oil and graphite and pencil.
Vicki was a finalist in the Lethbridge 10000‚ 2015 and Winner of People choice for Brisbane at the Cliftons 10000‚ Brisbane‚ 2014.
