Artwork Description

Whist travelling along the Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia I came across these birds in the trees where we stopped for lunch. The male is the vibrant red and the female is the green. The red flowering gums were abundant. The beautiful birds look as though they are dining.

Vicki is a Queensland based artist who draws on sense of place‚ nature and the human form as inspiration for her artwork. Her love of flowers is evident in many of her artworks.
Vicki works out of her studio in Cleveland ‚ where she also holds regular workshops and classes. Vicki works across many mediums including pastel‚ watercolour‚ oil and graphite and pencil.
Vicki was a finalist in the Lethbridge 10000‚ 2015 and Winner of People choice for Brisbane at the Cliftons 10000‚ Brisbane‚ 2014.
