Rise

I recycle everything from paints to my own paintings to enhance the maximum sculptural energy, whilst remaining confined within the paintings boundaries of a mostly two dimensional realm. The result is a distinctive style of painting that hovers between the abstract plane and the visual tension of the natural world. The material, physical and tactile nature of the canvas is clearly a spontaneous enjoyment in the act of painting, the dynamic paint application is as if in a whirlwind of pure life-force and vitality.

I've always believed in the authentic aura of a painting.
Art is more than an image ..it is a presence!
It has to have a physical side. That "body' of the art work
is a large part of its interaction with the viewer!
I try to leave a immediciacy in the process and maintain
my initial inspiration for all to see!

My Painting process consists of a continual experimenting with many different materials and paint that is a trusting abstract experience of creation.
Over 20 yrs of professional artistic creativity i have continued to evolve and taken the road less travelled to achieve breakthroughs after breakthroughs
that leaves me thrilled in the freedom of painting . I have countless collectors in Australia and Internationally that experience my work as a joy to live with
which i am truly grateful for thank you all.! I have exhibited extensively and live here in Kallista Victoria where i have my Gallery open to visitors and Fine Art collectors alike.
In the field of Australian Abstract contemporary Art i am thrilled to contribute to the ongoing development of true original art work which includes painting, Sculpture and installation
experiences along with murals a/public art. I am often asked to make commissioned artwork made for a particular place /home/business which i am more than happy to create for!
