This was the second in my current Rockpool Series inspired by the beautiful Australian beaches of NSW in my youth and, more recently the beautiful Arafura and Timor Seas in the tropical Top End of Australia. Nightcliff is situated in Darwin and the low tide exposes a magical world below the waves. This piece is my interpretation of the Nightcliff rockpools in the afternoon light.

This piece is painted with artist quality paints and ink on a rough textured A3 30gsm Reeves Watercolour paper.
