This is another painting in my current series of work exploring people and how they interact. In this I have focussed on considering what our bodies communicate - directly or otherwise - to our audience. So much is revealed: whether we are angry, ambivalent, delighted or in a hurry. Whether we are confident and whether we are present.

The surface of this painting is very textured with lots of knots and bumps and thick scrapings of paint. Body language is influenced and also, in a sense, seen in our surroundings...the environment, its ambience, our comfort or otherwise with it.

The painting is gallery wrapped and therefore does not necessarily need framing. It is ready to hang.
