I just recently spent a couple of nights down at the 90 Mile Beach at a place called Paradise Beach. A perfect quiet spot to sit and relax and enjoy the stunning coastline. While sitting enjoying my morning coffee a small grey kangaroo graced us with her presence, then moments later a large kookaburra came sat on top of a post right next to the kangaroo, I sat quietly and watched as they both watched me. There was a fleeting moment where I truly felt like I was in paradise. The sun was just showing itself and there were flickers of pink and orange in the sky. These colours and the moment dictated the creation of this work. Finished and framed in raw Tasmanian Oak.
