Reproduction Print on paper
Signed and numbered on the back.
The original drawing of this print was done by me on an acid-free water colour paper (A3 size) using pen and ink. African dance embodies athleticism and a graceful beauty flowing with rhythm. In Africa, dance is a means of marking the experiences of life, encouraging abundant crops, and healing the sick soul and body. It expresses the mood of the people and evokes emotion. The beat of the African drum is considered the “heartbeat of the community”. My interest in dance and music, and embracing different cultures influenced me to depict the African dance form through zentangle art.
