Reproduction Print on paper
Signed and numbered on the back.
The original drawing of this print was done by me on an acid-free water colour paper (A3 size) using pen and ink. In India, the elephant is a symbol for power, dignity, intelligence and peace. It is a sacred animal and is considered the representation or the living incarnation of Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity riding a mouse. Throughout the ages, Indian artists have indeed shown a strong affinity for this noble animal and an intuitive sympathy in depicting it. This is my way of depicting our royal Indian elephants in zentangle art.
