This piece is bright and cheerful ,full of colour applied in a loose abstract form to create volume attracting the eye .
This piece ,my 2 year old daughter helped with the background. She loves painting with me and insisted on painting together this day on the same stretched canvas . Her little fingers covered in paint . As we were painting this the local kookaburras laughed above us . Again today when finishing the piece , she was taking her nap , a kookaburra called as I was looking at the piece wondering what I could make of it . I took these 2 days as a sign that it should be a kookaburra .

Acrylic on gallery stretched thick frame canvas . The edges have been painted white to compliment the tones and quarky features of this piece . Kookaburra has been sealed with a double layer of semi gloss varnish and is signed both back and front . Includes a certificate of authenticity.
