As I posted this piece just as the 12th Birthday Sale was ending, I am having my own mini-sale and listing it at a 10% discount for another week. Pulling into a wayside stop along the Stuart Highway, we discovered the dry bed of Agnes Creek. Lit by the golden glow of the westering sun, the sandy, red road running between an avenue of smooth, white gum trees had a sense of magic and adventure, inviting us to explore.
