This Artwork Story.

In 2015 I was struck with an infection that somehow managed to travel to my brain, it triggered my body to go into shut down and almost ended my life. After spending months in hospital, persevering with the challenges of recovery both physically and mentally, it was that experience that encourage me to be a professional artist again.

Artwork in any shape or form can relax or stimulate your mind with wonderful thoughts.

From that whole experience I painted this artwork to represent what I went through.

A Diamond in the Sky is my interpretation of how difficult it was for me to climb through the fog of illness, pain and frustration, out to the other side where I finally feel good again (Sunrise). When you have been very ill for a lengthy period of time, and you finally get to a point where the days are normal again, it really shines through you, and that it why I have added the lens flare.
