"Chestnut Teal Duck" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.

Throughout all my recent landscapes there's always been a Duck or two on the scene.
I believe there are about 19 different types of ducks in Australia, and this Chestnut Teal Duck is one of the smaller ones. It has a pretty chestnut body and a vivid green head with a red eye. One of my favourites!

M ission: I love exploring the intricacies of nature then paint my interpretation. I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and brightens up a space in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
