"Pink Camellia" by Anica Amphlett is an original unframed watercolour painting.

Camellias may be common, yet they are so beautiful. Their prime flowering time is Winter, making those cold morning walks so much more pleasureable. I found this beautiful pink downturned Camellia in the park. Filtered light enhanced the petals and the centre yellow-gold stamens.

My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
