An original painting . The granite hills on the outskirts of Jugiong NSW was the inspiration for this piece.
The rocks are piled in heaps and jut out of the landscape . I have layered collage papers from old paintings on paper with acrylic, ink charcoal and gesso to create this piece.
‘Rocky Hill’ is another of my artworks that would hang very well next to this piece in a foyer, study or living area.
The colours are earthy, oranges, rust and blues which would suit many Australian contemporary homes.
