A trio to the Centre of Australia was inspiration. For this trip. The red ochre riches against a royal blue backdrop was amazing. The white ghost gums stood proud in the foreground. Cave paintings were evidence of life from long ago and dreamtime.

Sketches with paint on paper on site, became collage pieces which were the basic beginnings of this painting.
The rich colour palette shows the country as it is in all its beauty.
