This piece was intended to be part of a series I was going to enter into an art completion with a theme was around smoking. I wanted to paint another three pop art pieces that glamourised smoking in a way that the advertisements in the 1950’s to late 1980’s glamourised smoking. However I ran out of time to enter the completion and I only completed this piece which I didn’t enter. This work was also inspired by Andy Warhol’s “The Marlyn Diptych”
