The inspiration of this work is that Lilys was my friends favorite flower. She always used to say that she never felt the house was complete until it had a bunch of Lilys on the table! I love the way they seem to bounce around with their color, markings, and petals, as nearly every one was different. I used mixed media including an art liner, with shapes and patterns from my garden. I think this piece could make a corner in any room in the house - sing, as well as being a center piece.
