This piece was inspired by the rainbow of colours that cover the Macaw Parrot.
After seeing a photo of three Macaws flying against a sunset sky, knew I had to paint one.
I covered the canvas in Gold Leaf and then distressed it to create texture, the Macaw was painted onto the Gold Leaf in Acrylic
