Hard edge abstract.
A combination of varying surfaces and reflections creates an artwork that achieves a depth and interest when viewed in different lighting conditions. The blue I have used is international Klein blue which is famous for it’s matte finish and intensity of pigment. The star like formations are glitter flakes adhered to the black background with a satin varnish. The grey off centre border is painted in graphite acrylic that takes on the soft metallic sheen of graphite.
Can be hung in portrait or landscape format.
