I love watching the waves wash onto the rocky shoreline at Trigg Beach (near to where I live), and the wonderful patterns the water makes as it mingles and merges with the stones and rocks on the shore. I tried to capture this effect in my painting, which has wonderful patterning and texture. The photo doesn't do justice to the texture and depth of this painting.
