I've always been fascinated by anything celestial so when the images from the James Webb Telescope were launched, they literally blew my mind! The swirling design of this abstract piece draws you in and was inspired by the Whirlpool Galaxy, with stunning and intricate patterning throughout. Copper and warm gold metallic paint add a richness and depth that contrasts beautifully with the blue and teal hues. The sides have been painted in a complimentary blue.

Beautiful flow and cosmic vibe throughout this dramatic, abstract piece, which took me on a journey of exploration before I was happy with the balance and composition.

The design is open to interpretation of the viewer as is the orientation, which I love! It always fascinates me how my paintings "speak" so differently to people, each seeing something that speaks to their soul.
