This original expressionist painting has rather intriguing mark making with a vibrant palette making it a perfect statement piece.

Drawing on inspiration from a recent trip to The Whitsundays and North Queensland, 'On Tack 3' expresses my inner feelings of yachts racing on the open ocean. Sailing on a sea of blue, in a wind driven racing machine, for pleasure or competition.

Yachting is an exhilarating sport, there's thrills, excitement and elation. But there can be peaceful moments when you feel at one with nature.

People often say that they love my paintings because of the richness of the colors, the depth of the black and the texture of the materials I use.
