low tide walks along the surfcoast provide ever changing moments in time. The waves crashing on the carpet of glistening rocks exposed by the tide flow with the drama of the golden cliff face toward Urquart Bluff. The surf wash creating a fountain of spray and energy which almost contradicts the peace, tranquility and colour of the seascape.
Using an impressionist style of approach the myriad of tones and colour that made up the scene could be applied using thick juicy oils and careful but loose brushstrokes.
