Fascination with the mighty sea begins as a child first experiences the powerful whooshing and gentle tickling of the waves.

In FEARLESS the feelings from these experiences are explored. The joy and rapture versus the timid, wary and scared response.

The basis of my work is the interaction of people with each other and their environments, on land or sea.
My technique of combing collage elements as a drawing and painting tool creates texture, a subtext and layers; adding to the complex surfaces of my works.
