Ever since I was a kid, one highlight of the trip from Hobart to National Park was the view across the Coniston Estate at Glenora. Whilst I love pristine landscapes, I also love landscapes where the land has been used sympathetically and productively by farmers. The painting depicts the hopfields in early winter after the hop harvest.
