Right now (July) the wattle is blooming. The smell scents the air like a strong perfume. I am always amazed at the colour and shapes of the wattle trees. There are so mant different types.
The viewer stands on the edge of a rock ledge looking over a valley filled with wattle trees. Below are the flowers up close. The wattle trees move in the landscape.
In the background a mountain range can be seen.
I am lucky to live next door to a reserve where the wattle trees and bottlebrush dominate the bush tracks. It is a place where I go to relax and loose myself in the natural coastal bushland.
