This is in part a painting based on elements to form an intuitive theme that's relatable to the viewer. Half the painting was painted over so I used the tulips to create a foundation that felt meaningful yet quirky for this painting. Sandstone bricks are commonly found in older homes around Adelaide and the window was courtesy of an Anita Johnstone photo, used with permission. And although I don't own a corgi, I do love their playful nature and happy disposition. So these elements came together to form "Paws at the Window"
It's quirky, unusual, eclectic, bright and happy to those who enjoy contemporary art.
Note:- The red tulips aren't as bright as the photo shows so please be mindful when looking.
