Nature - my inspiration! While soaking up the breathtaking, natural beauty of the magnificent Marri and Karri trees which surround Boranup Gallery, Margaret River, I am always fascinated by the marvelous character of the wood furniture in the gallery, the wood being sourced from the Boranup Forest. This painting was rendered with as many naturally occuring materials as possible to describe my response to the grandeur of ancient trees and the roar of the nearby ocean.
