I am currently working on a series of still lifes using primarily painting knife. I love this style as it creates a much more free approach by eliminating unnecessary detail and focusing on the main shapes and values, adding a sense of drama. This painting is reminiscent of a a trip to Cornwall in 2019, a happy memory shared with very special friends. Looking under the bridge into another world.
