Artwork Influence
I paint what makes my heart sing, what calms my soul down and quiets my mind's ongoing conversation down. Flowers, nature, playfulness of light, and dancing branches, they all keep me present and water colour helps me to capture a hint of their beauties. In my recent paintings I use Ikebana arrangements, the Japanese art of minimalist arrangement of flowers and living items to express movements and emotions.
When painting “The Green Mist”, what I felts was the taste of snow and icicles, opening the windows to check if it will snow enough to close our schools down, to feel the chill and excitement of silent winter nights, and the joy of the warm house and the smell of the green mists, sitting beautifully in our room…
Artwork Description
My artworks are signed at the front and are sold unframed. Framing is a personal choice and most people prefer to choose their own frame, based on their interior design. When framing a watercolour painting, please ensure to use a Paspartu (a mat-board) to prevent the glass and the image from touching, and also to increase the visual appeal of the painting. Using a Paspartu will increase the framing size, though.
It is possible to arrange for framing via Bluethumb; if you are interested, please let us know.
Sizes:
The measures provided are based on size of the watercolour surface. there are small margins that will be covered by Pasrpartu, when framing. The weight of the artwork is just an estimate.
