I have been painting for twenty years first quietly, as a private practice, and now with the intention of sharing that joy with others. I am a Melbourne based artist working in acrylic on canvas and paper. I like to paint small mostly. My paintings are explorations of joy, colour and the things I love including abstracts, birds, flowers, botanicals and the hidden geometry I find everywhere in the natural world.
My work brings together two things, the expressive abstract world of colours and my love of beads and embroidery which appear in some of my paintings.
Every painting is one of a kind, made in my Melbourne studio.
