This artwork is based on The Hut, where I have been running a monthly life drawing group in Morningside, Brisbane. We're supported by a long running theatre group the Villanova Players, who have been giving this useful space to create in - thus all the stars, as a tribute to the kindness from the stars (on stage and behind the scenes) who have supported us. The original painting was auctioned off as a fundraiser, during a group exhibition which included me, other members and friends of the drawing group, as we as others who wanted to be involved. A big thank you to Base Art & Frames, Morningside, for helping to make this to happen!

The print is on quality A3 matt paper, with a white border, and has the name of the artwork, artist's name, limited print number and signature below the image in the white area of the boarder.

An abstract artwork, with figurative elements, as a limited print. For the original artwork, water soluble oil paints were used. There's a lot of different colours, with reds and greens particularly standing out, as well as strong bold curving black lines. These lines give the art work a dynamic feel, and the artist feels that this is not completely dissimilar to the strong impressions a linocut print of a bolder stain glass window may make. Prints will have a white border, and the title, number of print, name of artist, and signature will be placed within the border space, at the bottom of the print. Side profile of a nude female figure, curled up, with wings attached. The wings look like dragonfly wings, with segments of colour. There is gold-like colouration surrounding the wings. The figure appears to perhaps be resting. Near-white pencil on black paper and paint was used for this artwork. The head and neck of a common green tree snake, although appearing more golden in colour. There is red and blue paint surrounding the snake, and there has been a lot of focus on the structure of the scales. Printed with a white border, with title, artist name, and limited edition print number hand written in the white border area, at the bottom of the print. Nude female figure, showing head , neck, torso, and upper arms, on an A4 print, with a white border, with text and numbering in the white border below the image. Figure takes up most of the space, and was originally created by using white pencil on black paper, and adding paint surrounding the figure, as if bathed in light. There appears to be a bright yellow glow surrounding the female figure, and rudimentary orange stripes behind the figure. The roughness of the paint adds contrast to the fairly realistic and sharp rendition on the female figure. The artwork has a meditative and dynamic emotive element to it. The print in on very good quality matt paper.
