Artwork Description

This is framed with a black gloss painted timber frame.
Skies are amazing spaces. Changing cloud patterns and sunlit colours from pastel to brilliant. In contrast below a suburban, man made landscape of traffic and wires, a tangled web that we all contribute to. All for communication of what ever sort, and a pair of shoes. Shoes? I don't know why the shoes hang there, maybe ritualistic, token, bereavement, fun, tagging, or 'celebrative'. Whatever they are a part of our communication, an acknowledgement to life today.

Super white moon in dark blue sky, floating over a yellow setting sun with reddish hazes and reflections in the waters below Dry, vivid brush strokes which contrast in direction and colors. Bold colors of vermillion, black and whites painted on board, mounted on black painted backing board, surrounded in a black contemporary frame.I am drawn to the magnificant sunsets and some stunning sunrises as well, that this beautiful area frequently showcases. This radiant pink evening sky with the black silouette of a tall gum tree and others of my neighbours looks striking as a sliver of a white moon rises up high. This colourful blue and yellow sky with pink clouds was so pretty I had to photograph it and paint it out loud with the dark silouettes of my neighbours trees and rooftops.
