From the early 70's i have spent many happy times traveling and working in the Pacific Islands. I have been fortunate to have experienced the islands before the invasion of tourists and some of my paintings reflect the island life as it was then. Sundays are still very important to the locals who sometimes travel across the ocean on Sundays to return to their families in the outer villages.
