The series “Groupthink” examines the nature of group behaviour across a range of sub-cultures and social environments. The oil paintings, on canvas and framed paper, will focus on sporting, business, recreational and domestic milieus which appear mundane and benign, but reveal recent change in cultural and social values, family behaviour and human relationships. In this process “our reality becomes a complex mixture of substance and thought overlapping the present and the past". The works are cumulated memories of time and space.
