I recently edited this piece. It was originally part of my Shelter collection and was based on drawings of a large orchid which hangs over our back veranda. 

The plant is a hand-me-down, entrusted to my care by a friend who left Australia. It has faithfully flowered each year since and adding the pink blossoms to a previously dark and moody painting was a good move.
This painting is finished in a gloss medium which enhances the richly layered colours and texture of the work. If you would prefer a satin finish wax can be applied to provide a soft satin finish. Please indicate your preference.
