My mind is currently on memories of many holidays spent in tropical climates, instead of this dismal Melbourne winter. I’m drawing on memories, my own photographs, and my imagination to place me in an environment I find both relaxing and invigorating. My current work is finding a happy spot midway between representational and abstract - I don’t know what to call it, but it’s working for me. I hope you can feel the joy that went into the creation of this piece of tropical lusciousness.
