A simple, yet beautiful painting of a frangipani blossom floating in a pool with the sunlight filtering through the water. I have contrasted the white shape of the frangipani blossom against the different abstract patterns and shapes of the water and sunlight. This painting brings the feeling and vibe of summer with days sitting beside the pool enjoying the scent of the frangipani.

This painting aims to depict the beauty and tranquility of the Mornington beaches in Victoria, Australia. It has depicts a small child walking through the water set against the bright beach houses and long beach. It also depicts a mother and child playing in the sand in the distance. It aims to capture the serenity and beauty of the area. This is a commissioned painting for the Nissarana Gallery in Melbourne of the beautiful Treasury Gardens in autumn. It is aiming to capture the vibrant colours and tranquillity of the gardens. The dark branches of the tree with its yellow leaves contrast with the many colours of the changing foliage of the garden. I wanted to depict the colours like a jewelled treasure and the fallen leaves on the water like coins in a treasure box. In addition, I wanted to capture the serenity of the gardens with the reflections and stillness of the water and the subtle play of light coming into the garden. I loved painting this image and showing the contrasting colours and shapes within the beautiful gardens.

This original painting also includes an external timber frameCapturing in oils the colours of the vibrant and iconic graffiti in Hosiers Lane in Melbourne. I have wanted to capture the modern architecture of the city skyscrapers set against the older buildings of Hosier's Lane. I chose to use the primary colours of red, blue, yellow and green to accentuate the colours of the graffiti, signs and people of Hosier's Lane. I used the yellow van as the main focal point with the lines of the architecture merging into this point. The white of the light on the buildings and the foreground of the lane aim to contrast and magnify the colours of the graffiti. I also depicted people in the lane way merging them into the colours of the artwork. The light on the pathway also highlights the colours of refracted light from the buildings. This is a painting which captures a moment in Hosiers Lane and the unique and bright colours associated with this iconic Melbourne lane.A beautiful and colourful depiction of a garden in Bali
