Digitalis purpurea, also known as the foxglove or common foxglove. Foxglove symbolize creativity, a boost of confidence and great connection as the flowers often attract the bees and hummingbirds.
There is an old saying that the foxglove are magnets for fairies which attracting positive energy.


This artwork is inspired by my visiting to George Tindale Memorial Gardens in the Dandenong Ranges after a few months of lock down in Victoria.
It’s almost summer so the garden is extremely colourful with all the spring flowers blooming gloriously.
I was drawn to the sight of these beautiful Foxglove plants, under a giant, tall pine tree, with varies flowers such as carnations grow nearby.
These elegant, dreamlike foxgloves bloom in soft lavender, pink, yellow and pure white hue with a spotted centre. It was a quiet and calm sunny afternoon and the scenery is a pure bliss to enjoy.

Artwork size - 60 X 42 cm. Framed size 62 x 45 X 3.5 cm. Comes with a certificate of authenticity. <br> When an Artist paint an artwork, we put a piece of ourselves out there, into the painting. This artwork was inspired by my visit to Royal Botanic Garden in Cranbourne. I was drawn immediately to one of my favourite Gum trees- Corymbia Ficifolia (Baby Orange) in the harvest season. This particular tree is the main reason that I always come back to the Royal Botanic Garden in different seasons. Gumnut stands for healing and protection. The term eucalypt originally meaning well (eu) covered (calyptos). In this particular artwork, it has all the beautiful, plump gum nuts decorated all over the gum tree. A real feast for the eyes and a harvest for the soul. <br> The flower always blooms in its own time without competing with others. May we all bloom in our time in the best season. The flowers symbolized happiness and gratefulness for the life you have been given. They are a celebration of life. The Egyptian believed that the gerbera would lessen the sorrows and stresses of everyday life in the old days. It also has a meaning of closeness to nature and devotion to the sun. <br> Alstroemeria, also known as Peruvian lily or lily of the Incas, native to South America however some have become naturalized in the United States, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand. In 1753 Baron Claus von Alstomer, a Swedish baron, discovered the flower while collecting seeds on a trip to Spain. The Alstroemeria flower was named after him. This long-lasting flower symbolises devotion and friendship. Alstroemeria is also a symbol of wealth, fortune and prosperity. <br> Symbolic of powerful Yang energy, Chrysanthemums are believed to represent longevity, joy and attractant of good luck in the home. If you receive chrysanthemums from someone, it is a symbol of love. <br> The beautiful sun-coloured yellow rose can also convey warmth, delight and affection, as well as say good luck, welcome back, and remember me. Comes with a certificate of authenticity. <br> Affirmation – The Sun shines on you, you are ready for a new day, a new adventure. <br> My neighbour has this beautiful camellia tree in her garden which bloom gloriously every year. I admire its grace whenever I walk past the flowering tree. The glossy leaves add shiny-looking foliage with sunlight, along with the gorgeous red flowers and buds, it is captivating. Generally, camellia flowers symbolize love, affection, and admiration. Red camellias symbolize love, passion, and deep desire. <br> Camellia is evergreen, meaning that the leaves stay on the plant all year round. These heat-loving, drought-tolerant Camellias thrive in hot weather conditions, need minimal watering and can handle long periods with little to no rain. I present you these gorgeous camellias, that bloom gloriously just for you, in every day, every season. This is my 2nd depiction of the gorgeous flowering wattle tree near my studio, which I walk past during my daily walk routine every day.
