Mixed Media on canvas
Signed on the front.
Inspired by Australia's cheeky-looking native bird, the Willie (or Willy) Wagtail, also known in the indigenous language as Chitti-chitti.
Willie Wagtail is one of Australia's most widespread species. They appear to dart around wagging its tail from side to side (so its name suggests) while foraging, as if like a gossip-monger as the Indigenous believe it to be. This behaviour makes it hard to miss.
The painting is done on canvas panel, which is self-supporting. For hanging on the wall, mounting and framing would be required.
