This piece was made in a backyard in the blue mountains, where friends came together for an art jam. The energy in this painting is a result of my surroundings that day; full of creative minds, encouragement and ideas.
I like the play on layers in this piece, which changes ever so slightly throughout the day as the sun hits the shimmering gold specks surrounded by beautiful combinations of burnished reds and oranges.
The sides are painted black for a sharp modern edge, left to frame however you choose.
