Seaside Terror is inspired by the pulp detective magazines that were popular from 1930s to the 1950s - Jane has created a surreal painting by appropriating a 1950s cover of a scared woman on a telephone and placing her against a background of threatening grey seagulls
Jane is a well-known Brisbane artist who has been finalist for Lethbridge 10,000, Rotary Art Spectacular, Moreton Bay Art Awards, Noosa Art Award,  and Stanthorpe Art Prize.  She has also exhibited at various Brisbane and Gold Coast galleries.
